Chapter One: Rain

The wind was blowing rather fiercely today. I lay on my black sheets and purple blanket, staring at my ceiling. I let out a sigh. It started to rain.   
 Drip, drip, lop, lop, drip, drip   
"I hate the rain."  I said to no one in particular, just speaking my mind out loud. Something that I wasn't allowed to do in real life situations.   
The rain and wind started to pick up.   
"This is turning out to be the worst summer vacation since--"  I stopped and let out another sigh. Tears Chapter One: Rain
